Sylvie Alert

Sylvie did not show up to the office at all today. She had laid the framework for this absence yesterday by mentioning casually around the office that she would be "at the library" all day today. Obviously this flimsy library excuse was meant to deflect all inquiries as to her true location.

I have been unable to ascertain Sylvie's true location during the entirety of the working day today, August 30th. Do you know of any confirmed sightings or anonymous tips as to Sylvie's whereabouts? She may or may not be using a crutch and wearing a cast (she's been sporting these around the office but we have not been able to positively confirm whether they are due to a legitimate injury or simply a clever ruse to confuse our organisation). Sylvie Noel has gone unobserved for far too long. Sure, her blog gives us her account of her day to day activites, but I ask you this - can she really be trusted to tell the whole unadulturated truth? Does her blog give you a truly unbiased view of her day or is it, inevitably, tinged by her own personal viewpoint, her known sympathies for herself?

Sylvie Watch has been founded to fill in the gaps in our information about Sylvie's (possibly subversive) activities. If we don't take it upon ourselves to watch our family, friends, and coworkers - and post this informaiton on the web - who will? Do we really want to live in a world where the only source for personal information on an individual is that individual themselves?

I am but one person. Sadly, I am unable to track Sylvie's activities twenty four hours a day. I do not wish to compromise my undercover status, but I may reveal that I do work at the same location as Sylvie. Therefore, I have the observation duties during normal working hours pretty much covered. If you, brave reader, are able to fill in the gaps where I am unable to, please feel free to join me in my efforts.
